Book Check Genie analyses manuscripts for continuity issues. By creating an account or purchasing a check, you agree to these terms.

The service

Uploads are processed by automated AI analysis. Reports are informational tools for authors and are not a guarantee of publication quality, accuracy or commercial outcomes. You remain responsible for your manuscript.

Your content

You retain full ownership and copyright of any manuscript you upload. You grant us permission only to process and store your uploads to run checks and provide reports. We do not sell or share your manuscripts. See our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You may only upload content you own or have the right to use. You may not use the service to process content that is unlawful or infringes others' rights, or attempt to disrupt or abuse the service.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for activity under it, including access you grant to collaborators.

Payments and credits

Purchases are handled through our payment provider. Credits and subscriptions apply as described on the Pricing page. Because a check starts immediately on submission, purchases are final once a check has started — see our Refund Policy for details.

Availability

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Book Check Genie is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from reliance on report findings. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
